Company Deductions


  • Payroll deductions for health benefits, retirement savings plans, garnishments, etc. are added here.
  • Once they are entered at the company level, they are available to add to employees.


  1. Menu: Company>Deductions
  2. Deductions are entered based on specific deduction types. The type of deduction selected is very important as it drives the taxing of the deduction.
  3. Deduction Codes and Names are listed on payroll reports and employee pay stubs.
  4. Existing deductions can be edited to update information or end them.
  5. Garnishments can be set up to be collected and paid by TRAXPayroll.
  6. Deductions ended at the company level will automatically stop taking on employees even if their individual employee deduction is not ended.
