Company Worker Comp

Overview

  • Worker Compensation rates can be stored in TRAXPayroll to assist with premium payment estimates.
  • Classification codes and rates are assigned to companies based on the type of work performed.
  • The applicable code is assigned to each employee.
  • Reports are available that list employees, their wages and Worker Comp calculation based on the rate they are assigned.
  • Washington Worker Comp has both employee and employer rates associated to it and is a tax that is calculated through payroll.
  • TRAXPayroll can file and pay Washington Worker Comp premiums on your company's behalf.

Add/Edit Worker Comp Code

  1. Menu: Company>Worker Comp
  2. To change an existing record, click the Add/Edit Work Comp Rate link.
  3. Make the necessary changes and click the Update link.
  4. To add a new code click the 'Add Worker Comp' button.

  1. Enter the Code and Description assigned by the Worker Comp company.
  2. Check the 'Active' box to activate the code.
  3. Click the 'Save' button.

Add/Edit Worker Comp Rate

  1. Menu: Company>Worker Comp
  2. Click the 'Add/Edit Worker Comp Rate' link of the record.

  1. To add rates click the 'Add Worker Comp Rate' link.

  1. Enter the Start Date of the rate.
  2. Enter the Employer rate.
  3. Enter the Employee rate for Washington state policies.
  4. Click the 'Save' button.

  1. To change an existing rate, click the Edit link.
  2. Make the necessary changes and click the Update link.
