Company Department - Add
*Multiple departments can be used to sort employees.
- Menu: Company/Department
- Click the 'Add Department' button.
- Select the effective date option.
- Enter a department Code and Name. These will be listed on payroll reports run by department.
- The Effective Date will be populated based on your selection when adding.
- End dates are used to terminate a department.
- Enter contact information if desired.
- Ledger information can be added to assist with accounting.
- Click the Save button.
