Company Department - Add

Overview

*Multiple departments can be used to sort employees.

Add Department

  1. Menu: Company/Department
  2. Click the 'Add Department' button.
  3. Select the effective date option.

  1. Enter a department Code and Name. These will be listed on payroll reports run by department.
  2. The Effective Date will be populated based on your selection when adding.
  3. End dates are used to terminate a department.
  4. Enter contact information if desired.
  5. Ledger information can be added to assist with accounting.
  6. Click the Save button.
